Doors from TRAX provide benefits to our customers. Available in three distinct styles - Tear Drop
Edge, Full-Rib, Econo - all of which are formulated in standard and low-temperature formats, TRAX
offers the widest array of Plastic Strip Doors in the strip door industry. When used in refrigerated or
temperature controlled environments, TRAX Plastic Strip Doors lowers your energy bill.
In addition to the strip door industryʼs widest array of materials, all TRAX strip doors are provided
with Safety Border Strips (orange or red ) at no extra cost, and can be purchased with a variety of
hardware systems for header, wall, overhead door, and/or rolling track installation.
Tear Drop Edge
Exclusive to TRAX, plastic strip doors and strip curtains made with the patented Tear Drop Edge design, the only strip material Raleyʼs, Bel Air , and Nob Hill Stores will use, outlast ordinary strip
doors by as much as 50%. This means that strips that would normally be changed out due to
tearing and/or scratching every 12 months could stay useable for up to 18 months. The Tear Drop
Edge which runs down each side of these 4”, 8”, or 12” strips is twice as thick as the main portion of
the strip and its round, ball like shape makes it difficult, if not impossible to tear. When overlapped,
these stripsʼ Tear Drop Edge, act as ʻbumpersʼ which further assist against tearing and scratching.
In addition, the weight of the Tear Drop Edges allow these strips to hang straighter and seal off
better, thus providing the best possible thermal and or dust barrier. And finally, as the Tear Drop
Edges overlap onto the main portion of the strip, the edges form an air pocket that actually allow
the strips to separateoften does.
Full-Rib Design
The unique Full-Rib design of these TRAX plastic strip doors lets the rib portion take the impact of
hand truck and forklift traffic. This prevents scratching and tearing as well as grease and grime build
up, thus insuring strips that outlast ordinary plastic strip doors. TRAX Full-Rib strip doors are
available in 8”, 12” , and 16” widths, all produced in both standard and low-temperature formats.
Econo Doors The Econo Door is the most price competitive of the TRAX line of plastic strip door products.
These strip doors utilize basic, flat strip material, available in 6”, 8”, 12” , and 16” widths, all
produced in both standard and low-temperature formats. For strip doors or partitions of a
temporary nature, or to be located in areas where there is to be minimal traffic, these low-cost
plastic strip doors may be the right choice.
